An End-of-Summer Soirée: Celebrating the Launch of Wild Violet Event Co.

In September 2025, we gathered in a backyard at golden hour with one simple goal: to celebrate the beginning of something we’d been dreaming about for years.

Our end of summer soirée marked the official launch of Wild Violet, a creative event planning company rooted in friendship, thoughtful design, and the belief that meaningful gatherings do not need to be extravagant to feel unforgettable.

Instead of hosting something formal, we chose something that felt like us: warm, intentional, handmade, and shared with the people who have supported us from the very beginning.

Why We Chose a Backyard Launch Party

As event planners based in the Austin area, we believe the most memorable events are the ones that feel personal.

Hosting our launch party in one of our own backyards allowed us to create an evening that reflected the heart of our brand:

• relaxed but elevated

• welcoming and community-centered

• design-forward without feeling overproduced

• beautiful in a natural, effortless way

It was important to us that our first event as Wild Violet felt authentic. Not staged, not performative, but genuinely celebratory.

And there’s something magical about early fall evenings in Texas that makes outdoor gatherings especially memorable. 🌅

A Fully Handmade Menu (Made With Love)

One of our favorite details from the evening was the food.

Every dish served at the soirée was handmade by the three of us. Preparing the menu ourselves was not just practical, it was intentional. We wanted guests to experience the kind of care and attention we bring into every event we design.

Sharing food we created together made the evening feel intimate, generous, and collaborative, which reflects exactly what Wild Violet Event Co. stands for.

Thoughtful hospitality is at the center of everything we do, whether we are planning a wedding weekend or a backyard celebration.

A Make Your Own Spritz Station

Instead of a traditional bar setup, we created a make your own spritz station, which quickly became one of the most interactive parts of the evening.

Guests were invited to build their own spritz using a simple, curated setup of sparkling bases paired with citrus and rosemary for garnish. The focus was on freshness and ease, allowing each guest to create something light, refreshing, and personal without overcomplicating the experience.

Even with just a few ingredients, the station became a natural gathering point throughout the night. People mixed, matched, and returned for different combinations as the evening went on, which added a playful and social energy to the space.

Interactive elements like this are something we intentionally include in our events because they shift the experience from something guests simply attend to something they actively take part in.

Designing an Evening That Felt Like Us
